Xerox & Ducati


Xerox’s sponsorship of the Ducati team provides a good example of Superbike team sponsorship. Xerox became the title sponsor of the factory Ducati Superbike team in February 2005, after making its first appearance with a private Ducati team in 2004.

Xerox’s sponsorship has continued ever since. Xerox are one of the most recognisible sponsors in Superbike racing. Their sponsorship is based around prominent brand identification on the team’s bikes and riders with the red and white livery of the Ducati Xerox 999 Superbikes perfectly matching Xerox’s own corporate colours. Xerox also have team naming rights - Ducati Xerox Team and support their sponsorship with a comprehensive marketing communications campaign that includes hospitality, media relations, print and promotional activity.

Xerox’s sponsorship philosophy is that technology and performance is at the heart of both Ducati and Xerox and this provides a direct link and relevancy to Xerox’s business activities.
